"Remember Cedric. Remember, if
the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is
right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good,
and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord
Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory."
The Death Eaters are the name of the supporters of Voldemort. They torture, kill and take control of enemies of Voldemort
and Muggles. They are pure-blooded and have prejudice against muggle-borns and Muggles. Their mark is known as the Dark Mark which is
a skull, with a snake through it. They were either captured by Aurors
and send to Azkaban or killed by them after the fall of Voldemort. Some
of them resisted capture saying that they were under the Imperius Curse.
Those who resisted arrest returned to Voldemort when he rose again. On 1996 10 death eaters who were imprisoned in
Azkaban escaped. Their first "battle" was with Harry in the
graveyard and the second one (a real battle) was the Battle of the
Department of Mysteries. Once Voldemort came into the open in
1996, the Death Eaters continued their evil ways, including mass Muggle
killings. They are now accompanied by giants, dementors, werewolves and
other Dark creatures. Their latest and biggest battle was the Invasion
of Hogwarts.

Voldemort, learnt about him via Bertha Jorkins and sent Wormtail along to free him. dueled with and killed Sirius Black, and was one of the few Death Eaters present to escape
Dumbledore. Did not trust Snape as much as Voldemort trusted him.

using the Vanishing Cabinet and came close to killing Dumbledore but couldn't
handle it.

Commanded the Death Eaters in the Battle of the Department of Mystreries. He was captured and sent to Azkaban. Is scared of Voldemort because of his blunders in the Ministry and for giving away one of his Horcrux, the diary.
Malfoy, Narcissa
