J.K. Rowling’s magic is ageless. Despite the fact that the Harry Potter series has been categorized as children's literature, it seems there is a universal appeal to all ages. It's not only children who crowd the bookstores, often wearing costumes, when a new Harry Potter book is released. Adults, as well as children, are mad for Harry Potter!

What else but Harry Potter could cause people of all ages to queue up and wait patiently, in a very long line?

Ice Cream!

In the lull before Half-Blood Prince was released, some of us in the forums indulged in some giddy good fun, and imagined a list of Harry Potter Ice Cream Flavors, a la Ben and Jerry's. Inspired by the shimmering summer heat (and the dearth of fresh viewpoints and theories right before Book 6,) our thread members engaged in a playful listing of names we'd like to see for Harry Potter related ice cream, and attendant confectionary.
